Ms. Rinker has been a consulting actuary with Select Actuarial Services since September 2005. Since working with Select she has taken on the work for several key clients covering a wide range of property and casualty lines of business. Her work has included reserving reviews, pricing analysis, reinsurance risk transfer testing and financial modeling.

Prior to joining Select, Ms. Rinker had over six years of experience in both the US and UK insurance industries. She worked in the US, UK and group wide headquarters for Royal & SunAlliance. Her work experience with R&SA includes reserving, risk-based capital projections and calculations, DFA modeling for capital allocation and reinsurance, and commercial lines pricing analysis. Mr. Rinker also worked for the National Council on Compensation Insurance where she was involved with the worker’s compensation rating analysis.

Ms. Rinker graduated summa cum laude from Clemson University with Departmental Honors and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. She is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. She is also actively involved in various professional volunteer committees within the actuarial community.
